The large conference room at the Woodstock Town Hall will be available as a cooling station Wednesday through Friday, July 17-19, during regular business hours. Residents should bring their own beverages, snacks, and activities to pass the time in an air-conditioned conference room. The Town Hall is open on Wednesday from 8:30-6:00, Thursday from 8:30-4:30, and on Friday from 8:30-3:00. Contact the First Selectman's Office for more information.
Residents of Connecticut may opt-in to participate in the State of Connecticut Emergency Notification System Alerts. Alerts will be received via wireless telephones, SMS and Instant Messaging devices and email that only pertain to your specific area. State Officials encourage residents to sign up by going to the CT Alert Opt-In Registration website (click here).
